I THANK YOU ALL... I am very proud and honored to join the Legacy of the 105… those who adorn the grill room wall…those that have led our lodge and our Country… thru the World Wars, the Great Depression, every conflict, and OUR LODGE HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME… ....My only hope is that it does not earn me a black star before my time! What more can i say ? ALL IS GOOD ! The most important thing to remember is that we are a TEAM… and we all know that there is no “ I ” in team… We MUST all band together as one… for the good of the lodge... PROTECTIVE and BENEVOLENT order of Elks. ANYONE that has forgotten that, is incapable of understanding that, or goes against that, is either not well… or has a personal agenda, that is not healthy, and that is certainly not in the best interest of our lodge or its members. You have all heard me say “join the team or get off the field” you have seen the T shirts and logos… what this means is that: if you’re not part of the solution… then you ARE part of the PROBLEM. We are Elks… and Elks care… and Elks share… and Elks work together for the common GOOD OF ALL CONCERNED. I am proud you have chosen me to help guide our lodge into the future… and with the cooperation of everyone, I will not let you down, because good can not fail. I would urge you all to void out the negative that poisons our thoughts, and substitute it with positive energy to promote our lodge with good purpose. The

thought, word, and deed" …. THOUGHT,
WORD,
and
DEED... Please
take care in
what you think (thought) and say (word) and do
(deed) about our Lodge,
and about your Brother and Sister Elks... keep it
POSITIVE... keep it
ALL GOOD... NO NEGATIVE. Remember… people enjoy being around positive people, so lets keep it ALL positive… share ALL the good… pass on the rest... for the GOOD of ALL. United we stand… divided we fall… no truer words can be spoken. Our great order of Elks brings rest to the weary… from the 11th hour it is the “homecoming of those who wander… “ Let’s do everything to make sure OUR lodge does the same. I
